here's this month's news wrap-up from the Clay County EDC:

EDC Moves to New Location

The Clay County Economic Development Council has moved to new offices.

Located in the new iWerx North in Gladstone, the space is part of growing Downtown Gladstone that features Linden Square and the Northland Innovation Campus. The move will allow several EDC-related initiatives to be located under one roof: the EDC, Midwest Small Business Finance and the Northland Angel Investor Network.

Be sure to update your records for the new EDC address: 7001 N Locust St., Gladstone, MO 64118.

SBA Rates Offer Long-Term, Low Interest

SBA 504 Loan rates have decreased slightly from February. The March rates are 4.7 percent for the 10-year loans and 4.9 for the 20-year loans. Both are bargains for long-term, fixed-rate business capital.

If you're starting or expanding a business, SBA 504 loans are hard to beat for both borrowers and traditional lenders – especially when you work with the customer-friendly staff at Midwest Small Business Finance.
