Here's this month's news wrap-up from the Clay County EDC:

The City of Kearney

Kearney Missouri is one of the fastest growing cities in Missouri.  Strong economic growth coupled with a well-developed master plan have helped Kearney move forward.

Another factor is Kearney’s location. Kearney is only 15 miles northeast of Kansas City, just of I-35. But while it’s only minutes from downtown Kansas City or big city amenities, its rural location and access to features like Watkins Mill State Park or Smithville Lake offer an unparalleled lifestyle for residents and businesses.

The City of Kansas City is one of the EDC's Top Level members who provide the largest support toward our efforts maximizing economic wellbeing and opportunity in Clay County.
