![]() Clyde McQueen The one-year term allows McQueen to lead a national examination of workforce development issues. The council is particularly focused on helping workers who have particular barriers, such as poverty, disability or youth that make it difficult to get jobs. McQueen said he expects to emphasize job-training programs and partnerships between community colleges and businesses. In December, 2012, McQueen is scheduled to assume the role chair of the Economic Council, an MSBF affiliate. He has served in numerous leadership positions, including as co-chair of the successful Ford 20/20 Task Force which was instrumental in laying the groundwork for Ford’s $1-million investment underway at the Claycomo plant.
