Area High Schools Ranked Among Nation’s Top Schools

Staley High School was recently named among the top secondary schools in the nation by U.S. News. Staley led area schools included in the national list, which also featured Park Hill, Park Hill South and West Platte high schools.

U.S. News recently ranked Staley High School in Kansas City North among the best high schools in the nation.

Staley was one of 12 schools in Greater Kansas City that was listed in the magazine’s statewide and national ranking. Also included were Park Hill, Park Hill South and West Platte high schools.

The U.S. News survey involved ranking of 22,000 schools nationally. The listing measured students' overall performance on state high school proficiency tests, disadvantaged students' performance on those tests, graduation rate, and Advanced Placement test data.
