New Travel Shop Planned at Northland Park

May 2019

A Love's Travel Shop – minus the mountain backdrop – is being planned near the growing Northland Park and SubTropolis developments in Clay County

Hunt Midwest has sold a 20-acre parcel for construction of a large Love’s Travel Shop on Highway 210 between Highway 291 and I-435.

Located on the south side of 210 across from the growing Northland Park development and Hunt’s SubTropolis, the development is planned as a 12,000-square-foot building with gas pumps, diesel bays, a truck scale and a Speedco service center, a service center operated by the Love’s company.

Based in Oklahoma, the travel and convenience chain also hopes to attract a McDonald's restaurant for the site, expected to be completed sometime next year.
