A free Intellectual Property Bootcamp will be held at the Woodneath Library Center from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 21.
Intellectual property is critical for many small businesses that need to protect valuable assets. Adrienne B. Haynes, Esq. will lead this half-day seminar on how to develop and use intellectual property as a branding tool to increase your business’s competitiveness. Explore the foundations of intellectual property, how to leverage it to grow your bottom line and how to protect your intellectual property in a global marketplace.
The free event will feature a panel of some of Kansas City’s most successful business owners, breakout sessions taught by subject matter experts and a complimentary networking lunch.
Doors will open at 8:30 a.m. for networking, and the keynote will begin at 9:00 a.m. Coffee will be provided.
The event is co-sponsored by SEED Law, Mid-Continent Public Library’s Square One Small Business Services and the Clay County Economic Development Council.
