Magic, Excitement and Comedy Set for Aug. 9 EDC Event
Magic, excitement and comedy will be among the features at the EDC's "Virtual Magic Northland" Aug. 9.
Hosted by the Clay County Economic Development Council, the event will feature a virtual reality “Walk the Plank” challenge by the Disciples of Gaming and Todd Lamanske’s cool magic and humor. Other activities will include a scavenger hunt, raffles and more.
Planned as the EDC’s 2018 fundraising event, Virtual Magic in the Northland will be an enjoyable evening with a range of activities for all ages.
“The EDC is always looking for new ideas, and we have pulled several for Virtual Magic in the Northland,” explained EDC Executive Director TJ Berry. “This fundraiser will be an enjoyable way for our members, their coworkers and friends to share a fun and relaxing evening.”
Headline acts the Disciples of Gaming and Todd Lamanske share Northland roots and national fame. Lamanske has entertained small parties and U.S. presidents with his combination of stand-up comedy and jaw-dropping magic.
