The band Liverpool provided entertainment at a May 8 development expo sponsored by the EDC.

The Clay County Economic Development Council joined with county economic development professionals in hosting an expo for regional developers May 8 at Harrah’s Voodoo Lounge.

Greg Martinette, EDC Director of Business Recruitment, led the event, which provided an forum for Clay County advantages, networking, as well as entertainment and refreshments. The Beatles tribute band Liverpool provided the evening’s music while prizes were awarded to guests.

Along with EDC staff members, economic development representatives from Excelsior Springs, Gladstone, Kansas City, Kearney, Liberty, North Kansas City and Smithville were present for the event.
