Huge Liberty Logistics Already Has First Tenant!

December 2018

Liberty Logistics Center Phase I is a massive, $38 million “spec” building, the first such project within the Liberty Logistics site. Phase I is a 739,000-square-foot facility at 2551 South Liberty Parkway built by Brookman Contractors.

The Liberty Logistics Center development is adjacent to the Ford Assembly Plant and features three large buildings, built on a speculative basis, for commercial manufacturing and distribution operations. The largest and first boasts 32-foot ceilings and up to 146 dock doors. The next two buildings, 80,000 and 132,000 square-feet, respectively, will accommodate smaller users. Additionally, the development will include a retail portion, Liberty Parkway Plaza, containing eight pad sites fronting I-35 and the logistics park. This area will be ideal for restaurants and retailers catering to the logistics center tenants and employees, as well as the surrounding population.

Liberty Logistics Center embodies LANE4’s evolution from a retail-focused brokerage firm to a geographically-focused, full-service firm developing multiple asset classes. Illustrating the design’s immediate success, the first tenant has just been announced for Phase I: Kenco Logistics Services, based in Chattanooga, Tenn. Kenco will use nearly 300,000 square feet of the new Liberty Logistics Center.
