Missouri Gov. Mike Parson recognized two Northland high school students
during his State of the State Address Jan. 19.
Audrey Strope of Winnetonka and Nate Wassam of North Kansas City High
School were recognized by Gov. Parson for their efforts in the Northland
Career Center’s Law Enforcement and Crime Scene Investigation tracts.
Located in Platte City, the Career Center serves high school students in Clay
and Platte counties.
The recognition was initiated locally by communications from Officer Darrick Bruns and NCC Director Brian Noller.
