Historic Downtown Liberty and the Clay County Bicentennial Commission will host the county Bicentennial Celebration on Saturday, June 4, from 2-5 p.m.
During the free event, a time capsule from 1972 will be unveiled, and live music will be performed by the Clay County Museum Bluegrass Band.
The free event will also include family fun and games, the creation of a new time capsule, photo GIF opportunities, a performance by the StoneLion Puppet Theater, face painting, frozen treats, and other demonstrations and experiences.

Events begin on the Liberty Square at 2 p.m. At 3 p.m., the time capsule will be unveiled at the courthouse. Live music will be performed throughout the event.
