Another project in North Kansas City’s One North development is under way, continuing the strategic progress along the I-35/I-29 corridor just north of the river.

Milhaus, a multifaceted development and management company based in Indianapolis, has broken ground for a $58 million apartment and mixed-use project on just over nine acres in North Kansas City. Although new to North Kansas City, Milhaus has several other projects in Greater Kansas City.

One North comprises nearly 65 acres just southeast of I-35/I-29 and Armour Road/Highway 210. Once home to a massive grain elevator, the redevelopment effort led by North Kansas City has already become home to the Meierotto Jewelers headquarters, other apartments complexes, hotels and restaurants.

The Milhaus apartment effort is scheduled for completion in October 2024.
