Friday Facts: April 21
Friday Facts

Ralph Yarl: The shooting of 16-year-old Ralph Yarl last Thursday was devastating. We, nor anyone else know all of the facts. We ask you to let the judicial process take place in the courtroom and not the rumor mill. We should all be thankful that one of the most talented young men in Clay County has survived and will continue to pursue his dreams.

Bass New Saint Luke’s North CEO: Saint Luke’s North Hospital is pleased to announce that Darren Bass, DPT, FACHE, has accepted the position of CEO of Saint Luke’s North Region. Darren’s first day with Saint Luke’s will be Monday, April 24. Darren is a proven health care executive who comes to Saint Luke’s from Cox Health in Springfield, Missouri, where he serves as Vice President Clinical Services. He previously served in executive leadership positions at Cox Monett Hospital and in rehabilitation leadership roles consistent with his clinical background. He earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from Drury College in Springfield, Missouri, and his master’s degree and Doctor of Physical Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis.

Metro North Crossing Continues Boom: The 106 acre mixed-use development continues to draw unique entertainment concepts to Clay County. The home of T-Shotz has leased over 90% of their 250 luxury apartments in just eight months. They just signed a lease with Third Street Social for a 7,000 square foot restaurant in their Woodstone mixed-use project that will be open for business this Fall. Take a look from a drone’s view.
