Ellen Todd, CEO of Curry Real Estate Services, recently received the Northland Community Foundation’s 2023 Pinnacle Award.
The presentation, held at the Foundation’s recent annual breakfast, was not the first for Curry leaders.
The annual Pinnacle Award recognizes those who have demonstrated civic pride, caring and leadership in their contribution of time and support. Todd is the first person to be a second-generation winner, following her dad, Ray Brock, who won the award in 2017.
In comments made during the breakfast, Todd praised the foundation for its support of Northlanders who want to make a difference. “That the Northland is such a wonderful place to be is due in no small part to the work of the Northland Community Foundation,” Todd said. “The foundation provides the leadership and insight to identify needs in our community and makes it easy to be a part of accomplishing hard things to make a lasting, positive impact.”
She also said everyone attending the annual breakfast is a contributor and how thankful she is to work alongside so many giving and passionate people working to make the Northland a better place for all.
Founded in 1986, the Northland Community Foundation encourages charitable giving to benefit the families and children living in Clay and Platte counties.
