Ag Challenges Survey: Are you connected to agriculture in Missouri or know someone who is? MOSource Link and the Green Hills Regional Planning Commission want to hear about business needs and the challenges facing those in ag so they can better help them succeed. Take the 10-minute questionnaire here: http://bit.ly/moagsurvey  The purpose of this survey is to develop a better understanding of business needs and challenges in the Missouri agriculture industry. Responses collected will be analyzed to see where additional business support program offerings are needed and guide regional development strategies. Additionally, we aim to make sure that businesses are aware of and can easily connect with available resources, enabling them to increase capacity and grow their businesses.

Weekend Day Trips in Clay: This week lets visit the Excelsior Springs’ Museum and Archives located at 101 E. Broadway. The Museum & Archives houses the largest collection of Excelsior Springs artifacts and art anywhere. In recent years, several traveling exhibits have been displayed here. The building itself is a major attraction, designed by noted architect Louis Curtis as the Clay County State Bank, with a unique arched ceiling and reproductions of “The Gleaners” and “The Angelus” — considered invaluable today. Offering displays in two historic buildings, the museum gift shop has specialty items including the famous “Tripp Flag” print. Kids will enjoy playing on the replica of the Lake Maurer Special train engine. A genealogical center is also housed in the museum space. While there, take time to enjoy the tastefully redone downtown.

Missouri Conservationist: The latest online edition of The Missouri Conservationist is available by clicking here. There is a lot of pretty in our State and the photos are as great as the tips. Northland leader Mark McHenry is one of the four Commissioners.
