Hunt Midwest is nearing the start of the final phase of Hunt Midwest Business Center.
Located east of I-435 and Parvin Road, the site is immediately south of Worlds of Fun/Oceans of Fun and, significantly, near Ford Motor Company’s Kansas City Assembly Plant.
This final phase will include seven Class A industrial buildings totaling 2.8 million square feet in two sections. The developer has said the final buildings will be between 400,000 to 450,000 s.f., although a facility up to 800,000 s.f. is possible.
Completion of grading is expected by the year’s end, with construction starting within the next six months. The work will include a new northern entrance to SubTropolis, Hunt Midwest’s underground business park, off 48th Street.
