We Have a Title to Defend: Last year Team Clay County won the Mid-America Regional Council’s Top Plogger Award. Because our visitors continue to pitch trash where they feel like it (surely no one in Clay litters) we will have plenty of work to do. Sign up for plogging which is picking up trash as you jog or walk. The idea is to have a cleanup while enjoying the outdoors in your community. Gladstone, North Kansas City, Kansas City, Excelsior Springs, Liberty and Smithville all have routes. You can get more information and sign up here.
Smithville High Gets Real: Smithville’s Real World Learning is looking for people to help with their mock interviews from October 30th through November 2nd. If you have questions reach out to Carol Noecker K-12 Real World Learning & Community Partnership Facilitator for the Smithville School District at noeckerc@smithville.k12.mo.us or sign up here.
