Mark McAuliffe

Executive Director

Mark McAuliffe, a seasoned executive leadership coach and business strategist, brings over 30 years of experience in corporate leadership, consulting, and economic innovation to his new role. Known for his vision, execution, and commitment to community, McAuliffe has advised companies, nonprofits, and government entities nationwide. His appointment marks a new chapter of bold leadership and strengthened partnerships throughout Clay County and the Kansas City metro area. A North Kansas City High School graduate and University of Kansas alum, McAuliffe was raised in Clay County and returned in 2007 after nearly two decades working across the country. He and his wife live in Kearney, where they are active community members. He is widely respected for his integrity, faith, and ability to inspire others to lead with purpose

Bridget Mendoza

Community Engagement/Membership

Bridget, a proud resident of Clay County’s Northland, joined the Clay County Economic Development Council to support membership growth. It quickly became clear that her ability to add meaningful value to members was exceptional.  With a long-standing reputation for community engagement, Bridget is a natural fit for her role as CCEDC’s Community Engagement Lead. She is widely respected and trusted throughout the region and has served on numerous boards of 501(c)(3) organizations. She also plays an active leadership role on behalf of the CCEDC as a dedicated co-chair and board member of the Northland Workforce Development Center (NWDC).  Her decision to join the CCEDC was a seamless one, driven by her deep commitment to community service and her conviction that she could make a meaningful contribution to the greater good. Bridget brings her full energy and passion to the CCEDC each day, viewing the work as a calling rather than just a career. She and her husband, Edward, proudly call Liberty, Missouri, home.

Rickey Pierce

Director of Loan Operations

Rickey Pierce is the Director of Loan Operations he has over 20 years of banking experience with most of his career spent in commercial lending. Rickey specializes in lending to small and medium size businesses, and he’s responsible for educating bankers and small business owners about the 504 program and its benefits. While involve with several non-profits in the northland Rickey continues works hard to help grow and build the northland community.
